As of June 1st.
All sessions (excluding Weddings, Bridal and Engagements) will include
online previews only. We have been doing the online previews for a
while now and have great feedback on the ease and quality of the site.
Our popular preview albums will still be available in two ways.
~You will have the opportunity to purchase them off of the website.
~You will have the opportunity to pre-purchase them at the time of your session.
We are switching to Pre-Purchasing because of the high rate of walk-offs of these preview albums. We hear high praise about the images that are received and then an order is never placed. As we do not mark these books up and make no profit on them, we are quickly losing $$ on them. As we do not ever receive complaints about the images, we can only assume that those who do not place orders or return their books are illegally scanning the images and printing their own. We do not wish to punish our loyal clients in this switch, but we see no other way to prevent this problem.
All ordering will now be done online. We will of course make exceptions, but due to the high demand on our time, the prices for prints ordered at the studio (not online) will be slightly higher than those online.
Aside from the benefit of lower pricing online, we will also be offering 2-for-1 prints for all sessions for the first 30 days after they are released! This will include all sessions for an indefinite amount of time!
You will also now be receiving your DVD for FREE!!!
All prints will be delivered directly to you in attractive packaging! No more lengthy drives to the studio. This will especially benefit our many clients from St. Gen, St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Chester!
While we realize and regret that this change may come with some resistance from you, our valued clients, we hope that you will see the change as a positive one.
We wish to keep our pricing as low as possible, not raising them
more than once a year, even though our printing lab raises them more
often. We are able to keep our prices low by not hiring more staff.
Because of this, we have been spending so much time on taking, placing
and filling orders and we are not able to spend that time creating the
beautiful, artistic portraiture that we have become known for. We
really feel that our time and talents are better spent creating
beautiful portraits for you!
